Day 5 - 18 Apr 2014

After a uneventful flight we arrived in the small town of Xian(only 4 million people) .

We went to the Arts Ceramic and Lacquer Exhibition.

We visited the Little Wild Goose Pagoda during which time it poured down. Associated with this sight is a calligraphy and painting exhibition.  Michael and I had our names written in Chinese and we purchased two glass balls for Astrid and Soren with their names engraved inside them. It would have a great site to wander around if only the weather had been more clement.

We visited the Shaanxi Providential museum, at least we were inside. Some interesting exhibits and it was out of the rain.

Back to the hotel.

Statues just before our hotel.

Tonight we went to a dinner show. The dinner was a collection of differing dumplings, I think there were 15 differing dumplings. The show was the Tang Dynasty Court Music and Dance Show. The show was quite pleasant without the wow factor of the acrobatic show.
